You are welcome to join the Security Directory

Editors select, evaluate, describe and organize the Security Directory. They are responsible for reviewing submissions and list entries according to prescribed editorial guidelines. You could also manage news or forum.

  • All you need is an interest or passion and a computer. While there are no specific prerequisites, we seek people who have a genuine interest in secuirty as profession and industry in general.
  • Potential contributors/ editors should demonstrate attention to detail, and possess good grammar, spelling and communication skills.
  • There is no time requirement. We appreciate any time you can commit to improving and developing the directory.

  • This issue of SIA Update includes an article on counter-terrorism training developed by NaCTSO, an explanation of why our licence conditions are impotrant, and an opportnuity to ercognise the contribution women make to private security.

  • In our March update, we are supporting the #ActionCountersTerrorism campaign, and want to encourage the private security industry to report any suspicious behaviour and activity.This month we published an updated version of our ‘Get Licensed’ booklet
